A newbie Anime convention with all the trimmings; Seishun Con held its first convention this year in Atlanta GA. The weather was excellent which meant outdoor photo ops. The turnout appeared to be good too.

This convention is held in Atlanta each year. I currently have a 5 year membership and this was my third year attending.

A three hour drive had me in Charlotte NC for the self-proclaimed “America’s favorite Convention” – Heroes Convention. This 3 day event was held in the Charlotte Convention Center.

Thursday I went off with a friend on a journey across the wilds of America from Atlanta Georgia to Dearborn Michigan for the first World Steam Expo.
Friday morning found us reaching Dearborn - finding the hotel was not a problem, finding the road to GET to the hotel... well that was another story. The Expo was located at the Hyatt Regency.
