Korea Gets Shin-Chan MMORPG Game

By Ryan Kopf - Dec. 30, 2009

Crayon Shin-chan, the story of a five-year-old Japanese boy with a knack for inappropriate behavior, will be turned into an online roleplaying game by Korean game studio WindySoft in conjunction with DaeWon Media and Rainfall Soft.

Windysoft is known for other games such as Infinity Online, a room-based hack and slash, and even working on an online version of Katamari Damacy (the game where you run into things to roll them up into a giant ball). Daewon specializes in character and animation businesses in Korea. We couldn't find much information on Rainfall Soft, but they may be the publishers of an anime-styled iphone spot-the-difference-in-the-images game.
