May 10, 2014 • 1 - 6 pm Headquarters Library Celebrate horror, sci-fi, fantasy and graphic novels at SpartanCon, a new event for adults coming May 10th to the Spartanburg County Headquarters Library. Headlining SpartanCon is author C. Robert Cargill, author of Dreams and Shadows - a modern fairytale full of horror and fantasy - and screenwriter for the 2012 film Sinister. Join us for an afternoon with the authors, artists and designers who make you scream, gasp and stay up all night. Authors & special guests will take the stage and be available for autographs from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Get your costumes ready! Dress in appropriate cosplay for a chance to win two 4-day memberships to DragonCon 2014. Artists' Alley Artists from North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia will be stationed throughout the atrium and lobby with tons of cool art that can be purchased and taken home!
