MISTI-Con 2017

MISTI-Con 2017 is an immersive Harry Potter fan convention. The convention has exclusive use of all the hotel rooms and conference facilities. This allows us to create an engaging environment that our guests can participate and indulge in as much or as little as they wish. MISTI-Con fundamentally believes that the Harry Potter fandom greatest strengths lie is its creativity and participatory nature. Almost all of our programming is designed to be focused around our guests, making you active contributors to the convention. MISTI-Con will have a wide variety of programming including Academic presentations, skills and crafting training, group discussions and panels. The arts and creative endeavors of our fandom will also be on display, with galleries of art, readings of fiction, and musical performances. The theme of MISTI-Con 2017 is "Coming Home" and it represents a return to our roots. The MINISTRY has decreed that the Service Training Initiative recreate the environment and details of the world as seen through the time many of us first encountered the material- the locations, events, and stories described in the Wizard History book, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.
