SAM "NOSTRAIGHTANSWER" BLAKESLEE Sam Blakeslee, better known across the internet as "nostraightanswer" and more casually as "Lupin", is a multimedia artist hailing from Central Florida. Specializing in music, he made a name for himself as an English VOCALOID producer, and ultimately became the voice provider for DEX, an English Male VOCALOID. As an avid gamer and aspiring game developer, when he isn't honing his artistic craft, you may find him speaking about and playing various games, including but not limited to Overwatch, Granblue Fantasy, and a plethora of indie games. You can find him on YouTube and Twitter. TEPPYBAKA TeppyBAKA is no master seamster or crafter; he’s just a dude that loves to bring his favorite characters and personalities to life. Based in South Florida, Teppy has been attending conventions since his first time around 2007 with a group of friends from his college radio station, but his first real foray into the realm of cosplay began in 2010. His love of Visual Kei (a genre of music that originated from Japan) was a contributing factor in pushing him to try cosplay and explore his creative side, where his first (and perhaps most well-known) cosplay was Mana from the band Moi dix Mois. Little did he know at the time how much cosplay would become a large part of his life. Since then, Teppy has been constantly striving to improve, whether it be finding different ways of doing makeup, acquiring the right pieces for his outfits, or learning better ways to style and modify wigs. Being part of the cosplay community has also helped Teppy break out of his shell little by little and build some amazing friendships. He hopes that people continue to enjoy and be entertained by his randomness. You can find him on Instagram and Facebook!

FreeCon is a free yearly anime, video game, and enthusiast convention that is held on the beautiful Florida State University campus. The convention runs anywhere between two to three days on a particular weekend, and thousands of people attend. Join us and be part of the experience! Freecon will take place on March 9th through the 10th of 2019. Saturday, the 9th, FreeCon will go from 10am-10:30pm. Sunday, the 10th, FreeCon will go from 10am-6pm. We hope to see you there! This year, FreeCon 15 will still be held on the Florida State University campus, but not in the Union, instead it will be held between the Student Services Building and the Globe. General parking will be in the Traditions garage, which is right off of Traditions Way, which transitions from S. Woodward Ave. For your GPS, our physical address is 874 Traditions Way, Tallahassee, FL 32306. Our building is attached to the parking garage, so you can get to Registration right through the first floor doors connecting the garage and building. Upon arrival at the convention, attendees will check in at the first floor of the SSB or in the first floor of the Globe. You will receive a map of FreeCon's other spaces there. Where to Stay During the Con? We got you covered! Head on over to Hotel Info page to check out the FreeCon Staff's recommendations for rooms in the local Tallahassee area, including the info for how to reserve.
