Horror cons are events that focus on the more gruesome of fantasy - many are film festivals dedicated to premiering or screening of new horror movies created by members or traveling producers. Some more interesting types focus on specific subgenres, like Zombies or the Paranormal, but we sometimes categorize anything with a more spooky theme in this section. Horror conventions have existed for several years, but are growing in popularity as more and more fans are drawn to the horror genre.
