BottosCon, taking place from November 3-5, 2023, is a paradise for gaming enthusiasts, drawing attendees from across the globe to New Westminster, British Columbia. Originally started in 2007 with just 32 attendees over three days, the convention has grown remarkably, accommodating 150 attendees from locations as diverse as Alberta, California, Florida, Idaho, Massachusetts, Montana, Oklahoma, Oregon, and Texas. This year, BottosCon is extending the fun to four days from Thursday through Sunday, catering to diverse interests such as War, Euro, RPG, or Miniatures games. The event encourages pre-arrangement of games between players, but also welcomes spontaneous play with open gaming slots based on space availability. The convention will also hold special events like the West Coast Rumble ASL tournament and miniature games organized by Trumpeters Tabletop Society. In addition to gaming, BottosCon prides itself on its social conscience with events like a game swap table and a collection for the Tri City Share Society Foodbank. A portion of each registration will also be donated to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in honor of a late founding attendee, Rick White.
