Phil Parsons
Phil Parsons is a prominent American voice actor best known for his long-standing work with Crunchyroll (formerly Funimation) and OkraTron 5000. Born on November 8, 1968, in Los Angeles, he has been a professional voice actor for over twenty years, making his debut in 2002 as Sir Archer in Lupin III: The Pursuit of Harimao’s Treasure. Parsons is most famously recognized as the voice of the Saiyan warrior Nappa in the Dragon Ball franchise, a role he has voiced consistently across Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, Dragon Ball Super, and numerous video games.
Beyond his signature role in Dragon Ball, Parsons is celebrated for portraying gritty, powerful, and authoritative characters. His most notable credits include Kenny Ackerman in Attack on Titan, Renji Yomo in Tokyo Ghoul, Captain Buccaneer and Major General Hakuro in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and Leonard Burns in Fire Force. He also voices Klaus Von Reinherz in Blood Blockade Battlefront, Azazel in High School DxD, and Tensei Iida (Ingenium) in My Hero Academia. Most recently, he took over the role of Gajeel Redfox in Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest following the departure of David Wald.
