Watch out Jacksonville! The Walking Dead is here! The Retr-O-Rama Pop Culture Collectibles Show is back on Sunday, February 8, 2015 in Jacksonville and its bigger and better than ever! If you are tired of seeing the same old "collectibles" listed over and over again on Craigslist then this is the show for you! If you are tired of "make offers" and no pictures then this is the show for you! If you are tired of modern, reproduction, or just worthless junk being passed off as collectibles then this is the show for you! If you have quality collectibles items that you need to sell or have appraised then this is the show for you! Quit wasting your time and head to Jacksonville's largest collectibles event on Sunday, February 8 at the Ramada Conference Center in Mandarin! This is an old school, in person collectibles show with vendors who deal exclusively in vintage pop culture items. We try to make these shows fun and inexpensive so the whole family can come out and have a great time. You will find quality toys, dolls, comic books, posters, movie memorabilia and much more all for sale in one room where you can view potential purchases first hand and ask questions rather than guessing at mail order Internet transactions. These knowledgeable vendors also buy vintage pieces and can help you identify items if needed. This show is sponsored by Retrorama Collectibles and will be held at the Ramada Inn Conference Center in Mandarin located at 3130 Hartley Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257. This is right off of San Jose Blvd. and close to the I-295 exit for San Jose. Show hours are 10AM to 4PM with an early buyers preview from 9AM to 10AM. Our guest of honor for this show will be Lew Temple, Axel from THE WALKING DEAD! We are very excited to be the first show in North Florida to bring in a guest from this hit television series and you can bet we have lots of cool events planned around it. Mr. Temple has been in a ton of cult movies including The Devil's Rejects and Halloween (2007) working with director Rob Zombie. He has also appeared in Atlas Shrugged, The Lone Ranger, Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning and the children's film Rango among many others. We couldn't be happier to have him as the first Walking Dead guest in this area. Keep an eye out for further announcements! We are also very excited to announce we have not one but two Queens of Hammer Glamour from the famous Hammer Studios that revitalized the classic horror films in the 1960's. Veronica Carlson has faced the Horror of Frankenstein and then discovered that Dracula Has Risen from the Grave! She has also appeared in Frankenstein Must Be Destroyed, Old Dracula, and The Ghoul. She is one of the few actresses to have worked opposite Peter Cushing, Christopher, and Ralph Bates in these cult films and now fright fans will get to meet her in person at her FIRST FLORIDA SHOW. Returning for her second Retrorama Show appearance is Suzanna Leigh. Ms. Lee appeared in The Lost Continent and Lust for a Vampire for Hammer and in The Deadly Bees for rival studio Amicus. She also starred opposite Elvis Presley in Paradise Hawaiian Style and former Beatle Ringo Starr and Harry Nilsson in Son of Dracula. We are very pleased to have her back. Arch Hall Jr. had a brief film career in the 1960's but he managed to pack a lot into that short time. He ran with a hot rod gang in The Choppers, battled a love sick caveman (played by a young Richard Kiel) in Eegah, fought foreign spies in The Nasty Rabbit, was a very Manson like psycho in The Sadist, and played a different Billy the Kid in Deadwood '76. He is probably best remembered for the film Wild Guitar, an almost autobiographical story of a young musician's battle against the corrupt entertainment industry. When he wasn't busy making movies, Hall found the time to front the musical group The Archers and churned out a few regional hits. Retrorama Collectibles is proud to welcome this former teenage rebel to his first show in Florida! Guests aren't the only focus of the Retrorama Collectibles Show.
