Overload 2015

Overload is a NZ Comic and Manga Convention where local comic and manga artists can exhibit and sell their artwork to the public, with plenty of exciting events such as competitions, art exhibition and Anime/Manga merchandise for sale. Overload showcases a range of amateur artwork in a community focused event where everybody can have fun and learn to improve their art. Overload (previously called Doujin Overload) has taken place as a single day event since 2006 at the Mercure Hotel in Auckland CBD. At its inception it hosted around 30 artists and 190 visitors. It has steadily grown to have around 170 artists and 2000 visitors (2014) at the much larger ASB Stadium (since 2013). Every year we host a multitude of fun activities such as Cosplay, Comic competition and an Art Exhibition of an internationally renowned Japanese Anime Artist.
