About Kimvention 2012
Genres
KIMVENTION is the world’s first fan convention celebrating the television series, Kim Possible. Join us as we honor the men and women of the creative team who first imagined and then brought to life the First Great Heroine of the 21st Century!
Taking place over two days on the historic Queen Mary, moored in Long Beach Harbor, you will get to meet and hear from the show’s creators, writers, artists, techinical staff and voice actors, as they discuss how they brought this unique show to life.
Kimvention is also a charity fundraiser, with all proceeds to go to a charity soon to be named, in memory of Gary Sperling. Mr. Sperling was the head writer and story editor in the first season of Kim Possible. He succumbed to cancer in 2003. We will be celebrating his life as well at Kimvention.
The staff of the Queen Mary are working to recreate the many tastes and joys known as Bueno Nacho, in addition to providing regular means.
We have many writers who are keen to talk about scriptwriting animated series, directors, designers and producers. Through panels and workshops, they will cover all of the background work that goes into the making of an animated series from start to screen.<br />
