CyPhaCon 2023

CyPhaCon is Lake Charles, Louisiana's foremost Anime, Gaming, and Science Fiction Convention. Returning in 2024 for its 12th anniversary celebration, this fan-run convention takes over the entire Lake Charles Civic Center Complex, making it the largest of its kind in Louisiana. The three-day event offers a variety of attractions, including appearances by celebrity and cosplay guests, musical and performing acts. A highlight of the convention is its Cosplay Contest, alongside a Charity Auction and Scion eSports arena. The event boasts over 110 hours of original panels and programming, local and fan group involvement, a section for kids called CyPhaKids, and a newly expanded Vendor, Artists, and Makers arena filled with plentiful unique offerings. The convention elegantly amalgamates the worlds of Anime, Gaming, and Science fiction, resulting in a unique three-day extravaganza celebrating pop culture in all its glory.
