Geek Media Expo 2012

GMX, the Geek Media Expo, is the Next Generation Multi-Fandom Convention. Based in the Nashville, TN area, GMX occurs annually toward the end of October. Originating in 2009, GMX was initiated by the same organization that has been producing MTAC, the Middle Tennessee Anime Convention, since 2009. As a multi-fandom convention, GMX features over 20 Channels of programming content, including Art, Literature, Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror, Comics, Digital and Tabletop Gaming, Science & Technology, Star Wars, Star Trek & British Fandom, Costuming & Props, and much, much more. GMX brings together veteran and on-the-rise celebrity and artistic talent in an interactive forum with a focus towards quality in content and production level. GMX also features destination events, topical discussion panels, workshops, vendors & artist exhibitions, contests and more! Not limiting its scope to a singular weekend in the calendar year, GMX produces social and entertainment events throughout the year in leading up to the annual October exposition. GMX's growth has been explosive, with attendance effectively doubling each successive year, setting the stage for GMX to become Tennessee's largest and most celebrated multi-fandom exposition.
