Otakon 2013
Aug 9-11, 2013
Baltimore, MD
Official Review
Otakon connects its 30,000 attendee base with some of the biggest anime concerts in North America every year. The epic performances give fans a once-in-a-lifetime experience at every Otakon, but sometimes the long waits in lines for tickets and autographs can detract from the experience a little bit. Otakon suffers from its size to a degree - being disorganized in some places (only one entrance for the dealers room, massive lines for everything), and too organized in others (a dozen rooms for various "Ops" that don't need that much space). Overall, Otakon is fun, and focused on making big things happen for the congoers to enjoy and experience.
