Anime Iowa 2013

AnimeIowa continues its longstanding trend of being the same event year after year, providing a staple for anime fans in the area. This year's convention brought on a smattering of gripes from attendees complaining about excessive bag-check lines just to enter the dealer's room, and a lack of Japanese options (ramen, rice) or Mt. Dew in the ConSuite. Attendees and staff, however, were quite friendly, and cosplaying made the event much better, despite some other lackluster events. Overall the con can always be relied on to give people a chance to cosplay together and spend the weekend with fellow fans.
