Chi-Fi 2014

A geek convention in downtown Chicago. Originally scheduled from March 27-30, 2014, the con now is only a one day inaugural event happening March 29th at a new location. Chi-Fi 2014 is a convention celebrating geekdom. Whether you were a geek since long before it was "cool" or are only now discovering your inner geek, we welcome you at Chi-Fi. We know that there are many different varieties of geek out there. No matter what kind of geek you are, there is a place for you at Chi-Fi. Our programming tracks are designed to encompass a wide range of geeky genres, including science fiction & fantasy, alternative history, British media, comics and more. We have an exciting line-up a special guests, including Tim Russ and Garrett Wang (actors, Star Trek), Jim Butcher (author, The Dresden Files), Loony Labs (creators of Fluxx) and Marc Gunn (Celtic musician and podcaster). We are continuing to add guests for Chi-Fi 2014, so be sure to check out our Guest list to see who is coming! In addition to our programming, Chi-Fi is a great place to shop for geeky accessories. Our large Vendor Hall can accommodate over 50+ merchants and our Artist Alley is a great place to search for that special one-of-a-kind handmade item. At night, party with fellow con-goers or attend our special adults-only After Dark programming.
