We recommend registering in advance using the link on our website. However, there will be a registration table on site. PLEASE NOTE: The cut-off time for Costume Contest Registration is 1:30pm! This will allow adequate time for our judges to review the entries and make their final decisions. We had approximately 115 registered competitors at our Spring show, and expect even more this time. Setting a cut-off time for registration will allow us to streamline the process and provide a better experience for all of our guests. Thanks for your cooperation! CHARLOTTE COMICON PRESENTS: ZOMBIE 101: EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW TO BE A WALKER! Q&A PANEL FEATURING RECURRING “WALKING DEAD” ZOMBIE ACTOR JEREMIAH SCOTT! Jeremiah will share behind-the-scenes tips about costuming, make-up, and most importantly movement, learned from the show’s creators. Experience what it’s like to be a part of the #1 show on television! The demo and panel, hosted by WalkerBaitProduction.com’s SuperKerri, will begin at 11:30am. With appearances on the hit TV shows “Revolution” “Banshee.” “Army Wives,” “One Tree Hill,” “Eastbound and Down”, and feature films “The Bay” “Safe Haven” “We’re The Millers”, Jeremiah is best known for his appearances as walkers (zombies) in Season Three of “The Walking Dead.” In episode 3:15 “This Sorrowful Life,” he is killed by fan-favorite Michonne (Danai Gurira). Most notably, he appeared in the season finale as the walker killed by Beth (Emily Kinney). Following the episode Jeremiah was featured on AMC’s “Talking Dead” in the “In Memoriam” segment and was given the name “Beth Finally Kills A Walker Walker.” The scene generated so much buzz among “The Walking Dead” fans that it caused a social media explosion and ended up being a worldwide Twitter trending topic. The Marriott Executive Park Hotel (our NEW location where the December 2012 and April 2013 shows were at) is NOW the Crowne Plaza Charlotte Executive Park Hotel. Same Hotel…………..just a NEW NAME!!!
