Michael McConnohie

Michael McConnohie celebrates his 50th anniversary as a professional actor (!) this year, with roles ranging from the Easter Bunny to Count Dracula — spanning stage, screen, audiobooks, video games, original animation, and anime (and probably a few categories that defy description).

While theater will always be his first love, the infinite universe of voice acting is where he is most at home. In the original Transformers cartoons he was Tracks and Cosmos; Cross Country in G.I. Joe; Ectar and Lexor in Visionaries: Knights of the Magical Light; and Ben Packard in Bureau of Alien Detectors. He was there at the very start of anime in Vampire Hunter D as both D and Left Hand, and in Robotech as Colonel Rolf Emerson. He voiced both Lance and Ringo Richards in Teknoman (Tekkaman Blade). Through the years he has voiced literally thousands of characters — with plenty more to go.

In video games, he’s been in Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon; was the Voice of the Agency in Crackdown; Seth in Street Fighter; Kano and Ermac in Mortal Kombat; Xul the Necromancer in Diablo II; and continues in the Warcraft universe as the Lich King, Kel’Thuzad, and Uther the Lightbringer. He was Barry Burton in Resident Evil: Revelations 2, Xerath in League of Legends, and dozens more.

He’s been kings and commanders, heroes and hooligans in other anime titles such as Seven Deadly Sins, Digimon, The Big O, Hunter x Hunter, Golgo 13: The Professional, Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Super, Bleach (Kuroudo, Ryuken Ishida, Shawlong Kufang, Toshimori Sasakibe, Barragan Luisenbarn, and more), Naruto and Naruto Shippuden (Enma and Kisame Hoshigaki)…

And that’s probably enough. Come by and say hi!
