The Carolina Manga Library

The Carolina Manga Library is a 501©3 organization that was formed for the express purpose of promoting literacy through graphic novels. The Carolina Manga Library’s travelling library sets up at conventions and other shows to provide free access to an incredible collection of over 5000 manga, American graphic novels, newspaper comic strips, and art books. Stop in and visit with the library’s professional and friendly staff to get a chance to read some new manga or graphic novels and support the library’s missions to promote literacy and reading. The Carolina Manga Library is proud to have actual certified librarians on staff who are well trained in reader’s advisory services. They also provide some education panel options, such as an extremely popular Great Graphic Novels You Should Be Reading, during which one of their librarians, in a one-hour presentation, discusses an assortment of titles that demonstrate how graphic novels can change the way people think and how they read.
