Ramencon 2012
Sep 21-23, 2012
Merrillville, IN
Official Review
Ramencon's second year gave attendees a decently entertaining weekend with a strong showing of voice actors, while bringing them closer together to raise over $2,000 for charity in a charity auction. While Ramencon lacked Japanese guests, enough free ramen to go around, or a massive event variety, the low costs of attending and really positive attitudes by both staff and other congoers helped to make up for it. Sound and lighting for major events left a lot to be desired. When the convention adds more special events, better technology, and unique features, it will likely rise to a higher rating.
